Theme is love on the ice, but don't ask me to translate because my French is very poor. In anycase "patinage" means ice-skating and "glace" means ice.

Amis, parcourons la surface
De ce miroir de volupté.
Chacun s'élance, et sur la glace
Règnent l'Amour et la Beauté

O vous que ce bonheur excite
A patiner d'un pied léger,
Du petit Dieu qui fuit si vite
Imitez le vol passager.

Sur ton cristal, onde immobile
Cupidon a fixé sa cour
Fuyons les plaisirs de la ville,
Sur la glace suivons l'Amour
Friends, going round on the surface
On that mirror of ......
Everyone .... ,is on the ice
Love and beauty reigns

Oh you whose happiness exite
Skating lighfooted
An little god who flies quickly
Imitating the passenger who is a thief

On your crystal, immobile wave
Cupid is taking the heart
... the joys of the village
On the ice following love
