Where is Southern Comfort situated?

The summer-house in Egmond aan Zee is situated on a short distance (about 300 m) from the beach and directly to the dunes.
The environs of Egmond aan Zee are ideal for recreative cycling, going for a walk or just a nice quiet vacation on the beach. The centre of the village of Egmond aan Zee (at about 5 minutes walking) is provided with all kinds of comfort, as there are a cosi shopping-area, a supermarket and many restaurants. There are also various pubs to  entertain you at night.
On a little distance you can find a subtropical swimming paradise /sportscentre, where the whole family can entertain itself.
Cheesetown Alkmaar, with its famous cheese-market, is at a short distance (15 minutes by car) and the city of Amsterdam takes about 30 minutes by car. Both cities are within easy reach by public transport.

How is Southern Comfort furnished?

Southern Comfort is a comfortable privately owned  summer-house, situated behind the main house.
Recently the summer-house has been renovated. On the outside there is a private terrace and, of course, you
have your own private entrance. The house has two floors and central heating.
Ground level: a cosy living-room, a separate kitchen and  the shower/toilet. First floor: a bed-room with two separated single beds and a bed-room with a spacy double bed.
Living-room: a bench, an easy-chair, flatscreen-tv and a radio, a dining-area with a dining-table and four chairs.
Kitchen: gas-cooker, combi-oven, refrigerator, water-boiler, coffeemachine, toaster etc.
Bathroom with shower and toilet.
Washing machine, wash-dryer, vacuum cleaner, baby-chair, sunshades.
First floor: two single beds, a double bed, a children’s  cot, washing stand, wardrobe, TV-set.

For whom is Southern Comfort suitable?

The summer-house is very suitable to a maximum of four persons. There are various facilities for children of all ages. Pet-animals are allowed after consult.

When is Southern Comfort available?

The summer-house is available during the whole year. The rent is from saturday to saturday
Naturally, renting the summer-house for a longer period will be possible; we are happy to inform you,.if desired.

What are the prices?
The rent is depending on the season:
Low-season (october- april): € 300,-- per week,
Middle-season (may, june, september): € 375,-- per week,
High-season (july and august): € 450,- per week.

Included:
-gas, water and electricity.
- parking-card for one vehicle (security  €50,-)         

Not included:
-cleaning of the house: € 35,-- per lease,
-local tourist rates     : € 1,20 p.p.p.d.
